Participation Fee

JPY 2,000

JPY 800 for under 19 years

*Participants who request a package travel arrangement through TOBU TOP TOURS, are no need to pay the participation fee. The fee is included in your tour price(s).

Check - in

Participants must check-in before the marching at the FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS REGISTRATION DESK, located at near the Starting/Goal Point. The desk will open from 12:00 to 19:00 of the day before the march. Other days of during the march, the desk will open 5:30 to 11:00.

Routes and weather conditions

Description of the routes

Walking routes are in different directions every day. The routes are surrounded by abundant nature (rivers, flowers, woods etc.) Furthermore, you will see historic sites and places of scenic beauty in quiet rural views.

Routes are easy to follow. Signs will show you walking directions.

Awards

Registered participants will receive a commemorative march certificate and a Finisher's Pin according to their number of times that you reached the goal on your foot in the Japan Three Day March.

International Walkers completing 8 IML chartered walks will receive the Master Walker Clip.

IVV participants will receive stamps in both the event and the distance booklet.

Access

From Airport to Higashimatsuyama, you can take a train or an express bus.

By train

From NARITA Airport

1. Go toward Ikebukuro station from an airport.

1-1) Access by using JR "NARITA EXPRESS"

Some trains go directly to Ikebukuro station, and others go to Shinjuku Station. If you get off at Shinjuku Station, change from the NARITA EXPRESS to JR Yamanote Line for Ikebukuro Station.

1-2) Access by using Keisei Express"SKYLINER"

Firstly go to Nippori Station. Then, transfer to JR Yamanote Line from Nippori station to Ikebukuro Station.

2. Then, go to Higashimatsuyama.

1) TOBU Tojo Line

Take EXPRESS TRAIN from Ikebukuro station to Higashimatsuyama station on Tobu Tojo Line.

3. To Start/Finish point

1) The Start/Finish point will set up on the schoolyard of Matsuyama Daiich Elementary School. It is located a 10 minutes walk from Higashimatsuyama station. You can see a map below.

From HANEDA Airport

1. Go toward Ikebukuro station from an airport.

1-1) Access by using Tokyo Monorail

Firstly, go to Hamamatsucho station. Then, transfer to JR Yamanote Line for Ikebukuro station at Hamamatsucho station.

1-2) Access by using Keikyu Line

Firstly, go to Shinagawa station. Then, transfer to JR Yamanote Line for Ikebukuro station at Shinagawa station.

2. Then, go to Higashimatsuyama.

1) TOBU Tojo Line

Take EXPRESS TRAIN from Ikebukuro station to Higashimatsuyama station on Tobu Tojo Line.

3. To Start/Finish point

1) The Start/Finish point will set up on the schoolyard of Matsuyama Daiich Elementary School. It is located a 10 minutes walk from Higashimatsuyama station. You can see a map below.

By bus

From Narita Airport

1.Using Tobu Bus West/Kawagoe Kanko/Chiba Kotsu ''Express bus''

1) Its ticketing counter is Keisei Bus ticket counter. Your destination is ''Shinrinkouen station north exit.'' Get off at the ''shinrinkouen Station north exit'' stop. Transfer to a train on Tobu Tojo Line there. Higashimatsuyama station is the next station.

2. To Start/Finish point

1) The Start/Finish point will set up on the schoolyard of Matsuyama Daiich Elementary School. It is located a 10 minutes walk from Higashimatsuyama station. You can see a map below.

From HANEDA Airport

1. Using Haneda airport Limousine bus

1) Ticketing counter is on the 2nd floor. Your destination is ''Shinrinkouen station.'' Get off at the ''shinrinkouen station'' stop. Transfer to a train on Tobu Tojo Line there. Higashimatsuyama station is the next station.
