Registration

Can only be made individually, not in group.

Via Internet: from August 31th to October 15th.

If you have to change anything you don’t have to make a new inscription. You must write there your participant number and the change you want to make. This email cannot be used for inscriptions, it’s just for information about changes or to ask for information.

In person: , from 5pm to 9pm. Also until the end of the start time of each route in the Poliesportiu Municipal L'Espanya Industrial (Barcelona).

Fee for registrations made and paid via internet (VISA): 7 € per person.

Fee for registrations made personally: 10 € per person.

It includes: the participation in both days' routes, revictuallings along the routes, and the needed documents to make the walks.

Important: If, after making the inscription, the walker wants to change something, s/he never has to make a new inscription. This email can only be used for asking questions or to ask for information. There's no possibility to register via this email address.

The 10 km routes of both days are part of the Barnatresc walk schedule. For this reason, it is free to participate in them, and there's no need of previous inscription. The walker only has to collect the route form at the begining of the walk and hand it over at the end. This form has to be filled with personal data and the proves of having been in all the established controls.

Transport

October 18th bus: the inscription to the 30 km route of October 18th has an added fee of 4€ for the bus transport of the neutralized section between Països Catalans square - El Papiol.
The inscription to this route and the payment of those 4€ extra must be done during the inscription, that will be closed on October 17th at 9am.
The organization cannot guarantee a seat in those buses to those who has not registered before that time.
The payment of the inscription fees will be made when collecting the Route form.

Track and weather conditions
Description of the tracks (road, landscape)
All the routes combine urban and non-urban sections of different lengths. In some of the routes, the accumulated drops (up and down) are important. Consult the drops profile that can be found in the map of each route.

Good care
There will be health assistance for the walkers at the beginning/end of the route and along each one. There will be ambulances, too, to support them.

Entertainment
It will take place in the Poliesportiu Muicipal de l’Espanya Industrial, between 12am and 2pm on both days. There will be several popular and traditional shows.

Weather
Bad weather conditions and rain will not make cancel or postpone the walk. But, if there is any really important cause, even at the last time, routes or sections of them can be cancelled or modified.

Souvenir - award
There will be a medal for those walkers who: have covered two 20 km routes; have covered one 20 km route and one 30 km route; or those who have covered both 30 km routes. To get the medal, it is necessary to hand over the route form with the proves of having been in all the established controls.

Every day, at the end, all the walkers who have covered the 20 km route or the 30 km route will have a diploma. To get it, it is necessary to hand over the route form with the proves of having been in all the established controls.

Tourist information about the surroundings
It is a walk by the city of Barcelona and its surrounding area, where everybody can participate. It has international echo, in order to let everybody know the wonderful beauties and particularities of the city of Barcelona.
The main goal is to have two kinds of routes: the “Llobregat routes”, that are the routes that have been present in the CIB in the previous years, and the “Besòs routes”, a new collection of routes in the other side of the city. We desire to alternate those routes, one kind a year, the other the next year, in order to be able to offer a bigger variety to the participants.

This year, we’ll follow the “Llobregat routes”. That’s why the starting and finishing place of all the routes is the Poliesportiu Municipal de l’Espanya Industrial

The International Walk of Barcelona, a non-competitive walk, is a good excuse to get health, alone or with friends, and to rediscover our city.
